But i let it fade until march when i decided to pick up my natural color hair dye from sallys and dye the whole headit turned out orange. They have all washed out in 2 washes to the orange yellow. Settling for a darker color with toning is a choice you'll need to make based on the condition of your hair and the amount of time and effort you have available to fix the problem. Or would a blue toner help on orange tinted hair? I was thinking about using a darker color maybe a level 7 or 6 Ash tone, but I would like to have dark strawberry blonde hair that is less coppery. Will ash level 9 be strong enough? You can only go 1-2 shades at a time. Hope this helps!
